Change to History Victoria Support Group email address - UPDATE

Certain demands were made.

We have been sending out (almost) weekly emails to those people subscribed to our Forums over the past several months as a replacement for the automatic messages from the old “My Connected Community”, discontinued by Vicnet.    These emails help to promote the activities of the RHSV and Affiliated Societies, and provide an opportunity for an exchange of information through the Forums.

Unfortunately gmail has made it difficult for us to continue with them owing to their policy of obliging users to provide mobile numbers, alternative emails, one Google password and a personal name (they didn’t like History Victoria Support Group).

We have therefore switched to an outlook.com email address, so please check your junkmail in case our emails get directed there.

Please continue to add your events to our Calendar and your questions and comments to our Forums.  If you wish to be unsubscribed from our Forums/Calendar/emails, please send an email to office@historyvictoria.org.au.

Please note that our the RHSV office email remains unchanged, the only change is the email for the weekly notification of events coming up.

UPDATE.  The alternative email addie turned out to be as troublesome, if not worse, than the gmail, so we have struggled on and got the gmail working again, so no change for the time being.
